    Steve,
I'm enjoying so many of these moments, with you, on my journey to become a player! I started late..51 years old so I looked for help. Just seem to hear you when you spoke, so I purchased some classes! The Guitar Soloing Master Class is AMAZING! Took me about 8 months. I had to wait for my skills to catch up with my desires... Love the learning curve!
So Today eight months later... or so I can play music with anything. I can hear the key and just FREAKING SOLO over it. If your looking for the light bulb coming on moment, take the course.

This course is breathing new life into my soloing skills. I am mostly self-taught on electric guitar, and hadn't made much progress in mastering any solo. A bit more than halfway through this course and I'm already playing a hundred times better - more accurate and confident bends, more interesting riffs, far bigger vocabulary for building solos, more confidence moving anywhere on the fretboard.

And I'm only on lesson 5 ... can't imagine what I'm going to be like after I've done the final three lessons! I've been studying classics like Panama and Wind Cries Mary for ages without making much progress. But even after only a few of the lessons, I was already more confident about playing those solos. I've now built up the skills to execute the complicated parts, and now all I need is practice to refine them.

The numerous techniques and concepts are clearly explained and demonstrated. The workbooks and backing tracks are great.

Steve's gentle approach to teaching the complexities of guitar performance is a big part of this class. I've made a lot of progress due to Steve's emphasis on having fun, knowing what you're doing, and keeping what you need while ignoring what you don't need.

I also like Steve's emphasis on musicality. Throughout all of the lessons, whether it's a new technique or a new scale or whatever, Steve's focus is on helping you find a way to make your playing more musical. And that's what we're all really trying to do, isn't it?
