The first three discs have given me enough to work on for a while. Practicing the various scales, bar chords and trying to grow in speed and strength and also learn the theory have my hands full for now. Good lessons so far thanks.

I feel this a wonderful course.

You are not overloaded with any one aspect of guitar playing. It touches on all aspects of guitar playing. There is just enough of each to get a firm grasp while having fun at the same time.

If I am going to be perfectly honest here, I own multiple Courses by Steve Stine and I feel he is THE BEST instructor that I have found. He speaks to you, not down to you, he stresses the fact that there are multiple ways of doing things and to just simply have fun. I wish I could have had an instructor like Steve when I was younger, I might have been playing for all these years instead of having extremely large paperweights in my attic!

This is a very comprehensive study. At first the scope of it was intimidating as I’m a beginner. However, I remember hearing Steve say to be patient, take it a step at a time and enjoy the learning process. Thanks Steve.

This course is excellent! Steve is one of the finest guitar instructors that I have ever been associated with. I have been playing guitar on and off for over 50 years and I found that there is always something to learn from his courses. I own many of his courses and there are still a lot waiting for me to get through. That's the fun being able to learn new techniques and sharpen up on hand skills that have become for want of a better word a bit sloppy. Thanks very much Steve you are very much appreciated!

I wish you had made this course earlier. I have a lot of your courses, but I think this one is the best. This one is good for the beginner as well as the intermediate player. I haven't not completed it yet, but I would recommend it to anyone who desires to be a better guitarist .

I've been enjoying several of Steve's courses for a while now, but the seletion of course material is so extensive (like a kid in a candy store!!), I was at a loss as to a logical sequence to progress through the material I left a comment to this effect and as if my suggestion was taken to heart, this course was offered shortly thereafter!!! Loving this course immensely!!

I have been very happy with the way Steve explains why and how to play things. They are easy to follow and understand the program. I have played guitar for over 25 years and never could wrap my head around the music theory part and always felt lost. But with this program I have had multiple light bulb moments. THANK YOU Steve.

I am SO GLAD that this course was available on DVD, as I have a very unreliable and slow ISP. Having this course on DVD allows me to learn quite a lot without having to depend on accessibility of the internet. I would highly recommed it to anyone interested in learning to play guitar

It's a Rock-en course! Steve Stine has an awesome way of teaching that no one has. Steve has been around music all his life and plays incredibly and he has not forgotten how difficult it is as a beginner so i can see Steve makes an awesome effort to slowing down to show and explain in detail. You can understand Steve clearly and Steve just doesn't teach you one way, he lets you know that there is different ways of getting that sound. I Have tried other course but this course i have learned more and progressing faster. I am more encouraged to learn because of Steve.

Not sure yet - just a beginner. Hope to get started mid-summer. Actually overwhelmed by all the GuitarZoom courses out there and wonder when a practical sequence of them for beginners will be published (which one should be purchased/used first, second, third, etc.).

I was not too happy to find out that when I purchased this course, including DVD and course manual, that the physical media was lost due a computer glitch in the ordering database. I waited over two weeks expecting delivery, and then contacted Customer Support to have the issue tracked down. My media is on queue to be shipped. It would be nice that the GuitarZoom website had some order history tracking ability, perhaps placed on the My Profile tab so customers could find out the status of their deliveries. Anyhow I have been doing the course on-line and do enjoy the course, it is very helpful. Would have liked having the DVDs since I do have constant internet interruptions with my internet provider, and would like the ability to repetitively go over the course over and over.

I've been playing for years and life got in the way, I found Steve by meandering on utube and signed up for interweb class and was impressed with his demeanor and style.Forward three years I think roughly 20 courses later life is still a major obstacle as far as a practice schedule, but I purchased life and I want to constantly work it, beginning with the basics up to scale theory, chord building timing you name it it's in there.Best money I've spent on a course.Ive learned old tricks over that forgoyand plenty of new ones I never knew .Steve is top Shelf

I have learned a LOT from this course. It does have some parts from other courses so if your wondering where to start this in my humble opinion would be a good place to start. It covers things from the basics to more advanced items. I have not completed the course yet and I would caution you if you are thinking of purchasing this course and completing it in a couple of weeks you might be disappointed. This course is designed to get you up to speed playing guitar but doing so at your own individual pace. I have watched segments several times before moving on and find myself going back to review. It may be be play guitar for life but it is a course you can keep reviewing for life, and likely will.

Steve's teaching style is amazing. He is both encouraging and very insightful. You know he knows his stuff and feel confident you can learn from him. The course is very well set out and I'm sure that it will inspire me to greater things. It's also encouraging to know that someone who is short in stature like me can learn to play that well. No more excuses. Cheers, Steve.

So far, so good! I love the content and the way it is presented. While I haven't had a ton of time to get too far in yet, I am already seeing improvement in my playing and expect to exceed my expectations. Now, if Steve could only figure out how to find more time in my life to commit to practice. . . .that would be gold!

Hi Steve, you are most definitely a good instructor. So, I have been picking things out in Guitar for Life. Learning something new every day, and try to incorporate into practice. The material is explained well, even for me. There is a lot in this corse to learn, I have recommended to people I know that are thinking of learning how to play and one or two that have been playing

I'm taking my time with this course because of all the things that Playing guitar for life covers. I am practicing all the technical stuff
while I am still having fun learning songs. This is helping me learn
things that I should have learned while I was playing guitar. hopefully this will help me with Music Theory and acoustic guitar for life courses. I bought those two also..

I think the course is great. I have several of your courses and I have learned so much from each of them. I have only been playing for a year but feel that I have come a long way, thanks to the GuitarZoom teachings. Sometimes I would like to see a bit more clearly the fingerings ( of both hands ).
I have not only learned a lot on how to play but have learned a lot as to why to play. I am learning music !!

    Thanks Steve

I’ve been playing guitar most of my life, I’m 54 and started when I was 14. It’s been a struggle and long journey until I stumbled across Steve Stines courses. I made huge progress in a very short time since I signed up with Steve’s courses. I’m self taught and learned mostly by ear, I always wanted to have greater understanding of what I was playing and learning and this course along with many other courses from Steve breaks it all down and it’s so easy to understand and apply! I only wish that I knew about Steve Stine and Guitar Zoom years ago.. I suppose it’s never too late right? I know I’ll never put my guitar down again due to frustrations of not knowing what to play or practice. Having too much fun learning and growing now. Best investment any level of guitarist could ever make! Thanks Steve! You’re an awesome teacher and guitarist as well!

I like the idea that the course is online and on DVD. I purchased it for my 11 year old grand daughter and she can easily follow and understand the lessons Steve Stine teaches on the videos. We both enjoy watching the "Play Guitar for Life" videos when she visits and we have a great time practicing the lessons together. It does not get any better than that!

I am on course # 10 and have been enjoying the lessons. Up until now they seem very simple and basic. I have been playing guitar for about 1 and half years so already know most of the basic stuff. I am looking forward to getting further into it and learn some more advanced things. Great job Steve!

I am a little over halfway thru the Play Guitar For Life program and feel that it definitely worth the money! While much of the first half has dealt with largely basic info (strumming patterns, chords, basic theory) I can say that I've learned bits of info that I had previously missed and am gaining a stronger overall understanding of the guitar. I enjoy the lessons and like that many examples are from songs that I know. Steve has a great way of breaking things down and teaching so that you are able to absorb the info. I'm looking forward to finishing the program and then diving into the vast number of bonus lessons that came with it!

I’ve been playing on and off for roughly 20 years. Although I’m only 50 of 256 videos in, I can say that Steve’s presentation of material is what swayed me to choose his packages over anyone else’s. He is very clear, precise, and flows through information at a reasonable pace and in a good chronological order.

The site itself is a little clunky and lacks the simplified user interface that some folks have grown accustomed to these days but. none the less, Steve’s programs are great! If you need help there is always someone online to chat with. If you’re thinking of learning to play guitar or improve upon your skills and you’re reading this message, look no further! Buy a package and you will not be disappointed!

The course is awesome and comprehensive. The way that Steve teaches is amazing. He has such a warm and great personality.

Steve makes us feel like he is a having a simple conversation with us.

He makes learning so fun and explain every concept in great detail.

The course starts off from the very beginning and advances. It touches on many concepts, from theory, strumming, rhythms, etc.

I wanted to go deeper in theory and acoustic, so I also bought the Music Theory for Life Course and Play Acoustic Now. Both are awesome courses taught by Steve Stine.

I haven't gone through the whole course yet, but I'm looking forward to completing it. I will definitely continue to buy courses taught by Steve Stine.

Thanks, Steve for such an amazing course.

Thanks Steve.
