This course was exactly what I needed. Easy to understand, it took me from knowing nothing to playing the 12 Bar Blues before the fifth segment. And that Rocks!

  2. Gerhard Weber (verified owner)

The course is well structured and understandable. You first have to firmly anchored the base, and know the entire grip board by heart, so that’s an ideal entry point for playing the guitar.

  3. Mario Fabela

I really enjoy the lessons, they aren’t too long and keep you focused on the idea or technique discussed. The information behind the “how and why” is absolutely perfect. It’s nice to learn something with ease, maybe not immediately transferring to the fingers, but to understand the concept helps to incorporate it into practice. My only regret is not putting forth a better effort, due to limited time. I have come a very long way in a few months, given that I have become more dedicated to practicing. Great course!!!!!!

  4. Stephen McBride

This course ( Steve ) helped make learning to play the guitar fun and easy. It was convenient to go back and cover sections over again when needed. I thought it was a very thorough approach for beginners. It covered chords, strumming, rhythms and scales but did not over do the lessons on theory. Tuning the guitar was covered as well as stretching exercises, warming up and how to hold the guitar. That was just the start, by the time you finish you have a genuine idea what you are doing.

  5. Mel Head

This course helped me reactivate my interest in playing a guitar… something I had enjoyed a long time ago but had not continued. It also was a good foundation for me to learn scales which helped me better understand what chords and music is all about. To say Steve did an excellent job of putting this course together isn’t enough. If you are just starting out with a guitar or want to “get back into it” as was my case, this course is in the “must have”category. Now all I need is to find more time to practice.

  6. Larry Baker

Good course for a beginner or an intermediate player to review technique. Steve Stine is an excellent teacher and makes learning fun.

  7. Bryan Pate

Great course for getting into the guitar from start to finish. Also covers strumming patterns, styles of music, and other ideas to get you going or refresh older ideas. Some videos are hard to see what is going on with the strumming hand and have to guess.

  8. Adam Wierzchoń

The best course for everyone who grabbed the guitar for the first time. Also good when you play for a while to refresh basics and find something new.

  9. Shanda Eisel (verified owner)

Thank you for doing this course. I always try to play songs I like, but I’m now learning the chords a little at a time and I like that I know more of what I’m playing.
