A# and Bb are the same notes, so the B flat guitar chord is the same as the A sharp guitar chord. You should also note that the b in Bb stands for ‘’flat’’ and # in A# stands for sharp. Other than that, have in mind that this is a major chord.

Barre chords usually tend to be the first rite of passage for the beginner guitar player. Although they are challenging, they are far from impossible. With a little bit of patience, you will be playing these like Keith Richards in no time!

To play this B flat guitar chord, bar your first finger across all the strings on the 6th fret. Put your ring finger on the 8th fret of the 5th string. Put your pinky on the 8th fret of the 4th string. Lastly, put your middle finger on the 7th fret of the 3rd string.

Strum across all 6 strings with your picking hand.

When playing a full B flat major bar chord, pick all strings sequentially to make sure you have pressed them all strong enough.
