Please take a few minutes to record a short review about GuitarZoom, Steve Stine or our courses. It is very important for us to what you think.
Record your video reviewBrilliant way of putting things across, Steve
I really had know idea how to practice. This is what I've been looking for.
I like everything about any course he gives . i learned the chromatic scale (not memorized completely) pentatonic scale 1rst and 2nd position still working on the other positions to memorize them as Steve says (absolute ) learned a few easy starting licks and riffs . its going good . thanks for everything .
The fourth week of this course has opened up my guitar playing world to whole new possibilities!
Very helpful
I'm loving it.
I've played music for years but never really knew what I was playing, it just worked. But Steve has a way of explaining things on the guitar that even a child could do it. I've bought a lot of guitar videos and books over the years but never could understand most of them. I can easily follow everything Steve is saying and trying to teach. He is by far the best instructor I've ever seen. Get this course, you won't regret it.
Great information on finger picking technique to practice with.
Steve is just a awesome teacher and for the most part learned all the licks and now trying to move around the fretboard more. Understanding more and more. Thank you Steve!!!!
Nice review of how to embellish your phrases at the beginning of the course. Then, a good variety of licks for use in the blues rock, metal genres. It's a course you'll go back to time and again for fresh ideas.
Awesome! Best online lessons Ive tried so far. Thanx Steve
Excellent course focusing on helpful guitar tactics and mindsets for soloing such as applying techniques, contrasting and dynamics, layering, evaluations of emphasizing various notes and sound colors in related keys. and telling a story using these elements..Very in depth - loved the course....
I love it!
I’m a experienced player of 30 years (Recording, touring, writing) with little to no lesson background. I recently joined GZ for some new perspective and its been great. I started from the very basic course and moved through it (yes even the parts where he shows you how to hold the pick!) Even as experienced as I am I still learned something. Steve is truly dedicated to this and it shows through his communication during the lessons and the supplemental materials that go along with each course. Stoked to be a member and excited to continue through the lesson plans!
Fundamentals are essential. I never got these basics on the guitar when I started playing. It’s great to review this info so I can feel confident that I’m not missing anything.
Simple ane memorable given the knowledge already learnt
I have been invited to review the Chord Chasing Mastery course but I have not yet started that course. I purchased a bundle of Guitar Zoom courses from a ad on Facebook and the courseware is changing my life. I have played mostly acoustic guitar and some electric guitar for years but never took the time to learn music theory or master soloing on an electric. That all changed a few years ago when I became an "empty nester" and made a life decision to become serious about guitar mastery. I began studying music theory and was quickly confused when trying to get the practical application of the theory transferred to the guitar... Guitar Zoom and Steve Stine's Fretboard Connection bundle that I purchased have changed my life. I now have the Pentatonic Connection course mastered and have started to develop my own soloing techniques. I haven't yet mastered the Diatonic Connection course nor looked into the Chord Chasing Mastery course, but I still gave this survey a 5-star rating because ALL the techniques taught in this courseware are easy to understand and apply. As I said, it is life changing. Thank You for that!
This was definitely a good investment. Just one or two new concepts made it worthwhile for me. I already had the pentatonic shapes pretty well memorized, but was mystified by where to play if it was a major or minor key. This totally clarified that, as well as learning more about meandering up and down the fretboard through the pentatonic shapes. Several other concepts were really helpful.
I so far think this course is great. I consider myself a intermediate player but I know I have gaps in my playing since I am mostly self taught. This course is good for beginners and intermediate players.
I thought the presentation of the CAGED system was thorough and well presented. However, Steve mentions abbreviated barre chords but really doesn't show how to finger them. I have a difficult time doing barre chords for the G, C and D with my last 3 fingers and it would be helpful to see some other ways of playing them.
